Ilo De Oro ("Thread of Gold" or "Golden Thread") is a broke, gentle 6 year old, 15.1h registered APHA sorrel overo gelding (APHA#683,085). He is sired by Tinky Cotee Man and out of the Quarter Mare Nana Emma. He is 100% Quarter Horse bred and could potentially get his AQHA papers if somebody wanted to do all of the legwork.
"Tex" can be ridden by just about anybody who can sit in the saddle and hold the reins. He is calm, laid back and easy going. He'll let you throw a rope off him, chase a cow, or head out on the trail all by himself. Whatever your heart's desire. He neck reins like a pro and has a good stop and backup. He's very responsive to leg if you ask him right. A firm squeeze can put this guy straight into a nice lope from a walk. A little tug and your walking again....all without getting hyped up, nervous or excited.
"Tex" has no vices, leads, loads, clips, trailers, ties and goes on the hot walker like a pro. This is one awesome using horse!
