Miss Gia is a big 16.1 hand, 7 year old AQHA Registered bay roan mare that originates from the foundation Hancock and Blue Valentine lines. She spent her formative years gathering cattle in northern California on the Paicines ranch and has since she was 4 cut trail with my 3 yr old daughter and I through streams and mountains trails.
This mare boasts the foundation bloodlines of Hancock and Blue valentine himself. At 16.1 she is a man sized mount with a nature gentle enough for the ladies. Miss Gia spent her formative years gathering cattle in northern California on the Paicines ranch and has since been cutting trail with my 3 yr old daughter and I through streams and mountains trails.
Gia is exceptional in her overall size, bone and correct structure as well as her ability to produce roan and contribute her good working mind set and cow sense to the quarter horse breed. She is sweet, personable and very sane. She has had professional reining training, is finished in the bridle, is light and responsive and a pleasure to ride. She has a slow spin and can moonlight as the “Extra” mount when called upon. (She knows the difference and does not have to get out every day to be the same horse.) This is a special mare that has been lightly used within my family for over four years packing everyone around, camping and being part of a family.
