About Us
Equine Acquisitions is owned by April Lee and Adrienne Gendot. Our location in
Lake View Terrace, CA gives us easy access to great mountain and riverbed trails
which are utilized to train incoming horses. We are also close to major show grounds
including the Los Angeles Equestrian Center.
Equine Acquisitions specializes in offering to the public
quality family horses at affordable prices. We purchase horses both publicly and privately,
add any necessary training, and then market our horses as accurately as possible. We understand
that honesty is not a common virtue in the horse sales industry but it is something that we
believe holds the highest value. Honesty to our customers keeps them safe and allows us to
maintain our good reputation! We strive to provide our customers with as much information
as possible about the horse they are looking at. This helps to ensure our customers are happy
with their Equine purchases. We know that a happy customer is more likely to come back when
they are in the market for another horse as well as refer their friends who may be horse shopping as well.
Almost every horse you see advertised by us will have our “Soundness Guarantee”.
This guarantee is provided to provide peace of mind to purchasers who desire a veterinary pre-purchase examination.
It basically provides for a partial reimbursement of the exam fee should the horse not pass the soundness
portion of the veterinary exam. We understand that our customers don't want lame horses (and neither do we!).
We are proud to say that, to date, we have NEVER had a horse fail a veterinary exam.
Our personal horses enrich our lives and we strive to find that special
horse that can do the same for you. We try to make the best horse/person match possible and know that a
well-trained horse can be one of lifes greatest companions.
